Jewelry care
Filigree is fine thread: once bent, it does not always come back.
Every day
Put the jewelry on last and take it off first. Perfume, hairspray and cream work their way between the threads, and no cloth reaches in there.
Storing it
Dry and apart. Each piece in its own pouch or slot: two filigree pieces rubbing together in the same drawer catch on each other by the thread.
Around water
Off for swimming, showering and cleaning. Chlorine and salt water are the worst thing that can happen to a plated finish.
Pearls
They are organic, so everything above affects them more than the metal. Clean with a soft, barely damp cloth, never by soaking.
Raw emerald
It keeps the matrix of the stone, which is more fragile than a polished cut. Avoid sharp knocks against hard surfaces and never clean it in an ultrasonic bath.
If something bends
Write to us before trying to straighten it. Thread of 0.22 mm gives once; the second time it breaks.
