Our story
Before a store, KORA is a table.
A white cloth, velvet busts and a mirror. That is where people try the pieces on, feel the real weight of the gold and take their time. Everything on this site started out fitting on that table.
KORA sells Colombian filigree jewelry: metal thread drawn down to the gauge of a hair and then coiled by hand, turn over turn. It is a slow technique, and that slowness decides the size of the business. No two pieces come out the same, and that is why KORA stays small.
What we say and what we don't
If the workshop has not confirmed a detail, we do not write it. That is more useful than an adjective. It is why some product pages have gaps: we would rather be missing an exact weight than invent one.
Same with origin. KORA is Colombian jewelry and filigree is the technique of the house. Once we can document workshop and maker piece by piece, this page will get longer. Until then it stays as it is.
Where to find us
